The current City Council recently received a job-approval rating of 93%, which is up 5% from just two years ago. That rating is among the top ratings for Mayors and City Councils in all the metropolitan area suburbs. Additionally, 95% of the surveyed residents think things in Roseville are generally headed in the right direction. Full details of the survey can be found here.
Lisa Laliberte Receives Highest Number of Votes for Roseville City Council

Lisa Laliberte and Jason Etten have been elected by the voters to serve on the Roseville City Council for the next four years.
Lisa Laliberte Earns Top Spot in Primary Election

Lisa Laliberte, Jason Etten, Karen Schaffer and Bill Hoffman will be the candidates for City Council in the Fall of 2012. Roseville voters in the August 14 primary selected the top candidates to go on to the November 6 general election. Two City Council seats are up for election. Preliminary results show the top four vote getters are:
• Lisa Laliberte 1377 votes
• Jason Etten 1333 votes
• Karen Schaffer 1282 votes
• Bill Hoffman 860 votes
In addition, Liane Gale, Gerry McDonald and Peter Strohmeier ran for office. Strohmeier received 806 votes. McDonald received 317 votes, and Gale received 186 votes.
