Why I ran for Roseville City Council...
2012: I looked around my community and decided it was time. Two open seats on a five-member Council were about to be elected and I considered that be very significant. The direction of that body and the future of Roseville could lie in the election of those two individuals and I took that very seriously. Many elements are at work in shaping our community and I view the next several years as critical.
We needed someone who cares about and is concerned with ALL of the issues facing Roseville in the future, not just a few.
I am that person.
Why I ran for Roseville City Council...

- I am committed to keeping Roseville proud by protecting our strong, safe neighborhoods, excellent business climate, quality schools and outstanding parks.
I am a leader who works to earn trust and respect. I have the judgment to do the RIGHT thing and make the tough decisions. - I value a fair hearing on critical issues and welcome the input, concerns and ideas of others. I listen.
- I look forward to working with and promoting the civic, philanthropic and service organizations, which are active and doing great things in our city.
- I know the Council has a responsibility to make good use of our resources. Priorities matter and I will ensure the citizens get the best value for their tax dollars.
- I share Roseville's commitment to quality and high standards and believe we need to be a city known for getting things done.
- I respect the history of our city and believe we need to honor and protect the reasons why people moved to Roseville to begin with, while showing new families how we got to be the city we are today.
- I have a holistic commitment to Roseville and it’s future, which is not specifically focused on one or two issues.
